The Scotch Whisky Experience opened in 1988 in a building that was formerly Castlehill School. The aim of the centre is to educate about all aspects of Scotland’s national drink. It is home to the largest collection of Scotch in the world, with over 3300 bottles. There is a tour that takes you through a replica distillery, teaching you about all aspects of whisky creation. Afterwards, take a seat at the bar where experts will help you to select your perfect dram.
