The Old Mill is a cool, rustic hideaway in the north Scottish Borders. The property is a 1700s water-powered grain mill which has been converted into a large open-plan space within which you can lounge, cook, bake, bathe, sleep, relax.On the ground floor, the warm-toned kitchen opens out into a generous dining area. Beyond, the double-height living area features a huge woodburning stove with an unlimited supply of logs.Upstairs, the mezzanine bedroom has a super-comfy kingsize bed, feature bath, spa-style products and a rainforest shower room cleverly tucked into the eaves.You’ll find interesting, unusual décor throughout with modern styling paired with vintage and industrial touches which reflect the heritage of the Old Mill. Outside, a seating area in the woodland garden awaits. Guests are free to explore the wider Dod Mill complex – you’ll find rivers, an orchard, mill pond, some quirky artists’ bothies and a few friendly sheep to spot.

The property is dog-friendly with one furry friend allowed free of charge.
