A lovely woodland with good paths, picnic tables, ruins of an old mill, stream and views of the Firth of Forth. Known in Victorian times as the Ladies Walk and written about by Robert Louis Stevenson in his book ‘The Lantern – bearers’.
This can be found just a short walk from North Berwick town. Alternatively you can park on the road next to the entrance or take a bus to it.
