The Donnie Munro mural in Portree

Created by artist Donnie Munro outside of his son’s Portree café, this mural was first unveiled in 2021. Capturing the Skye landmark of the Old Man of Storr, the mural helped to repair the wall opposite the café and has since brought an artistic flourish back to this part of the island. Anyone popping into Birch for a coffee should be sure to stop and see the mural first.
