Peace and tranquillity, woodland walks, coastal paths, secluded beaches, rare wildlife such as golden eagles, sea wildlife such as dolphins, otters and seals can all be found on Raasay. It’s a small island just a short ferry trip from Skye and with about 170 residents. Beautiful views all around for those all-important photos. Hillwalkers and climbers have lots of options and if you are able to manage the highest mountain, Dun Caan then you will be rewarded with views over to the Cuillin on Skye and the Outer Hebrides. Start your journey to Raasay from the ferry terminal at Sconser on Skye.
