Cuillin Mountains

The defining peaks of Skye’s rugged landscape, there is perhaps no mountain range on the islands better known the Cuillins. Rising to 992m high, the range is split into two distinctive parts – the Black Cuillin and the Red Cuillin – and has been designated a National Scenic Area. The mountains are also considered the ultimate test for UK climbers – especially in the winter.
