Oronsay Island, Ullinis

You can walk onto Oronsay Island from Skye if you time it right. There is a causeway from Skye but for a couple of hours before and after high tide it’s covered by water so be sure to check the tide times before making the journey so as not to be stranded on Oronsay. Park in the parking area at the end of the public road near Ullinish Point. The return walk to the island is only about 5km and the views are well worth the trip as well as sea stacks, Oronsay beach and caves to see.
