NextTaking you through the beautiful Nevis Gorge, the Steall Falls was named a TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice for 2022 and can be easily accessed by a single-track road. Promising beautiful woodland views beside the falls, part of the walk to the waterfall will allow you to catch a glimpse of the imposing Ben Nevis nearby.
Though seemingly rather spare from a distance, this dramatic waterfall descends down the backdrop of the Nevis Gorge mountains. The falls were also used as a filming location for a number of the Harry Potter films.
As well as the waterfall and Glen Nevis acting as a stunning backdrop in the film, the waterfall is also the place where Harry takes on the Hungarian Horntail dragon in the Goblet of Fire. The two-mile walk is over well-marked ground and will take a couple of hours to complete. A fantastic way to spend time in this remote location.
