Loch Pityoulish

There are a number of beautiful lochs in the area surrounding Aviemore, including this one next to the river Spey. Its unusual name translates to ‘The Loch of the Settlement of the Bright Place’. It makes a great spot for a picnic, and is also a fishing hotspot due to the pike and brown trout hiding in its waters.
