A small village on Arran’s northeast coast, Corrie was once a frequent stopping place for steamships travelling around the island. Despite its small population, Corrie has long been known as a haven for artists of all mediums. High Corrie, which is found just above the village itself, was once the muse of artists like Joan Eardley, Margot Sandeman and Jessie M King.
