Stac Pollaidh
If you climb all the way to the summit of Stac Pollaidh you are rewarded by a panoramic view which covers Loch Lugainn, Loch Broom, the Summer Isles, Assynt and the Inverpolly Nature Reserve. There is a good path all the way although the final ascent is very steep and involves scrambling. If the weather deteriorates the path can become hard to find so be sure to check the weather forecast for the whole time that you will be on the mountain. Look out for golden eagles and red deer. Park at Stac Pollaidh car park, Achiltibuie Road to make the climb or just to sit and take in the view.
