Gruinard Bay

This bay has three beaches with beautiful pink sand, rocky coves and spectacular views of An Tealach, the Coigach hills and lots of little islands. Look out for Eider duck, otters, Northern divers, seals and dolphins. Explore the Chapel of Sand by the shore. It is said to have been built by St Columba in the 18th Century. The area is known for its sea angling, fishing, hillwalking and golfing. Park at the Little Gruinard beach car park.
