Assynt is an area in North Western Scotland that offers a variety of scenery with its moorland, mountains, fresh water lochans, hidden river valleys, cliffs, beaches and sea stacks. There is plenty to do in this area including fishing, boat trips, kayaking, water sports, stalking, climbing, walking and golf. There are also gardens, galleries, museums, beaches, castles and caves. There are coastal walks and low level walks that would suit everyone and also two Munros for the more dedicated and experienced.
