SHOPPING IN ARDNAMURCHAN

Arts and Crafts

Ardnamurchan has a variety of traditional crafts shops where you can find unique items you won’t find elsewhere. You’ll also find supplies for your own projects, particularly for knitting.

‘Loch Sunart Yarns & Buttons’ sells hand spun yarns and buttons made from natural shell, wood, and horn.

‘Clippet Sheep’ sell a variety of yarns, from the everyday to the unusual.

At ‘Kilchaon Crafts and Gallery’, you can buy local pottery and tweed products, they have a gallery selling artwork, mostly landscapes of the local scenery.

Two very similar shops are ‘Sunart Crafts and Art Gallery’ and ‘Mallaig Art Gallery and Crafts’.

You can also buy handmade pottery in ‘Woodland Pottery and Crafts’, which is located in Strontian.

Local Produce

‘Salen Jetty Shop’ in Acharacle sell a range of local produce, including prawns, meat, beers, and whiskies.

‘Shielfoot Organics’ in Acharacle sells fresh locally grown vegetables. You can collect from them direct, but they also deliver locally.

‘Roshven Hill Farm’ in Moidart sells delicious hill-reared beef.
