Arguably the most famous and picturesque spot on the Scottish coast, the Isle of Skye is home to truly breathtaking landscapes and views. Take a look at some of these images that were captured in this glorious territory, and just try to resist booking a retreat in these spectacular surroundings.

With a view like this, its no surprise that the Isle of Skye takes its name from the Norse term Cloud Island. Stand atop this mountain range and you’ll feel as close to the sun as Icarus.

The rugged terrain of the Isle of Skye is a hiker’s paradise, with plenty of opportunities to stretch your legs in the never-ending green spaces. Clamber atop the stone structures of the island and breathe in some deep lungfuls of unspoiled air.

It probably isn’t advisable to turn your hand to cliff diving from these astonishing ranges, but that’s just as well; money cannot buy the tranquillity you would find atop this cliff range.
