Help us spread the word about the magazine by sharing this page

Hidden Scotland magazine is a source of inspiration and information on travelling to and around Scotland. We are on a mission to discover, create, and collaborate, in order to inspire travellers and Scotland’s inhabitants to get out and explore one of the most beautiful countries our planet has to offer.

With that in mind, we want to encourage conscious travel in a bid to get to the heartbeat of the awe-inspiring locations within Scotland. By encouraging meaningful experiences, travellers will begin to immerse themselves within their surroundings to establish longer lasting connections and gain a better understanding of the area they are in and its people. We want to show that sustainable travel gives something back to the communities and provides the traveller with an authentic experience. Now more than ever people want to return home from a trip feeling enlightened and transformed.

We have worked with an extremely talented group of creative people who have contributed to this issue in order to be able to tell stories, offer guidance, share tips, and give insight in travelling around Scotland.

We are very excited to finally be sharing our news with you and so pleased that you have chosen to come on here to find out more. We have loved creating this magazine for you to enjoy and really hope that you do.

The more we immersed ourselves in the places we explored and the more that we developed our content over time, it became so apparent that we required a physical extension of Hidden Scotland in order to align our beliefs in conscious travel. The connections that we make and the experiences we gain are extremely valuable. Therefore we want to connect to our readers in a way that enables them to actively take time out of their day to sit down, switch off from the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves within the pages of the magazine.

We will be shipping the magazines worldwide from Scotland.

Our magazines will be dispatched using Royal Mail.

Please allow 1 to 3 business days for processing prior to shipping.

The publication is 160 pages, perfect bound, and printed in full colour on FSC-approved uncoated paper in Scotland. It measures 200 x 255mm. We are printing the magazine with Allander print in Edinburgh.

Hidden Scotland magazine will be a bi-annual publication

There is no digital version. We want to connect to our readers in a way that enables them to actively take time out of their day to sit down, switch off from the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves within the pages of the magazine.

We will be dispatching magazines at the end of September from Scotland.

By placing an order before we officially launch the magazine you will receive your magazine beautifully gift wrapped by hand, with a free highland cow bookmark and A5 print of the front cover image.

The Highland Cow photograph is by Andrew Alexander, and front cover image is by Chris Houston.

We will be launching a subscription service soon 🙂
