A popular Lothian spot for wild camping, Yellowcraig Beach is a beautiful, natural beach surrounded by grassland and forest. One of the region’s most picturesque spots, it’s from here that you can access unrivalled views over Fidra Island, the location that inspired Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island.
Yellowcraig offers a pretty cove beach, nature trails through woodland and grassland, dog walking facilities, toilets and a wonderful view of Fidra Island. As well as this it is within an easy walk of the village of Dirleton which has restaurants, pubs, a castle and gardens. Park in Dirleton and follow the signs in the Main Street. Dirleton is just a short drive from North Berwick.
