The West Highland Way is one of the Oldest long distance walks in Scotland.
This 96 mile route takes you on a journey through some of the most dramatic and inspiring landscapes Scotland has to offer.
Starting at Milngavie on the north western edge of Glasgow, it winds you through epic mountains, wild spaces, sparkling lochs and some of Scotland’s most remote landscapes all the way through to Fort William, a touristy town in the western Scottish Highlands.
The route is scattered with fantastic places to stay and eat and can even be extended to walk the Great Glen Way.
The walk is taken by over 85,000 people every year, of whom more than 30,000 complete the entire route. To complete the full route it takes on average 5 to 8 days, depending on your fitness and time in each area.
