Located in the seaside resort of Portobello, ‘The Velvet Easel’ gallery exhibits contemporary works from artists from all over the world. Varied media are covered, from paintings to ceramics and even jewellery. It opened in 2013 and has proved itself as a great way for new names as well as established ones to showcase their work.
