Tyninghame Beach

Considered one of East Lothian’s most beautiful beaches, Tyninghame Beach has a stretch of golden sand that’s perfect for lazy walks along the water. The beach is accessible via a walk through nearby pine woodland, where you’ll find a tank barrier, which was built in WWII to stop a German invasion of Scotland. Many tank barriers were built by Polish soldiers stationed in the area.
