Spot over 40 species of birds on a boat trip to Treshnish Isles. To view these islands at their best from Mull go to either Treshnish Point or Port Haunn. This group of islands is uninhabited and in fact doesn’t even have any good landing sites.
The existence of forts, chapels and castles on the islands however shows that they have not always been uninhabited and that they have held a strategic position in days gone by.
If you are a keen birdwatcher then a boat trip to view the many seabirds on the islands including puffins, kittiwakes, herring gulls, shags, fulmars, petrels, razorbills and guillemots is a must.
