Tolbooth Seafood Restaurant

This popular seafood restaurant sits in a 16th century building which used to be the County Courthouse and before that a shed for the nearby Dunnottar Castle.

The building itself is steeped in history and if you plan to visit in the summer you can pop into the little museum downstairs to find out more about Stonehaven’s history. From the window you can get a lovely view of Stonehaven’s picturesque harbour. The seafood is sourced locally and the restaurant is one of the finest seafood restaurants in Scotland.
