The Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum

Founded in 1874, the Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum is a purpose-built museum housing more than 40,000 objects and artworks. Founded at the bequest of artist Thomas Stuart Smith, the museum celebrates Scottish history and culture, features a biodiversity garden and holds temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

Dedicated to the promotion of culture and art within Stirlingshire, the Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum was founded in 1874. First opened with the collection of artist Thomas Stuart Smith, the museum and gallery is now a hotspot for art lovers and artists alike, particularly landscape artists.
