At more than 188 years old, The Star Rock Shop is believed to be the oldest sweet shop in Scotland. First established in 1833, the shop’s name comes from the accident that created ‘Star Rock’, a sweet that’s been enjoyed by many, including writer J.M Barrie and Queen Mary – Queen Elizabeth’s grandmother.
