The Gart is perfectly situated within an hours drive of Glasgow and Edinburgh. The popular town of Callander, known as ‘the gateway to the highlands’, is only a 15 mins walk.

This lovingly restored Baronial castle, The Gart is the private residence of Scotish artist Stuart McAlpine Miller and his wife, Nikki. The property, furnished throughout exhibits the unique and contemporary style of your hosts.

An ever changing exhibition of the contemporary Limited Edition artwork by Stuart McAlpine Miller features throughout the property. You will also find a collection of luxury silks, designed by Nikki, in their basement Art Gallery, alongside a series of rare Limited Edition prints.

EXPERIENCE

This contemporary castle is situated within the beautiful Scottish Highlands . It is remote whilst still being within an hours drive of both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The nearest town, with all facilities, only a 15 min walk.
Take advantage of all the castle has to offer, whether it is to arrive by a private helicopter charter or explore your surroundings with a private yacht charter or classic car.  We have private fishing in the grounds, clay pigeon shooting and golf days. Our ghillie can take you on a tour of the local beauty spots, or you can sample his luxury picnic butler service.
If you have a particular occasion in mind then we can arrange music to suit any taste. A private chef to cater for you. Whisky tasting and a tour a must. Or just sit back and enjoy our Gin & Whisky honesty bar.
Health & fitness services includes spa visits from our local beauty health aesthetics medical team. Private instructor offering anything from hot yoga, paddle boarding, canoeing or even a
bootcamp in the beautiful castle grounds.
