The Galloway Forest Park

Galloway Forest Park welcomes over 800,000 visitors a year looking to walk, cycle, explore the loch and follow the history of Robert the Bruce’s campaign for independence. Set across nearly 200,000 acres of land, the park was the very first to be given Dark Sky Park Status by the International Dark Sky Association.
