The Clyde Arc

One of Glasgow’s defining symbols, Clyde Arc – which locals call Squinty Bridge – crosses the River Clyde. Opened officially in 2006, it was the first city-centre traffic crossing a river since the 1970s. Connecting Finnieston Street to Govan Road, the bridge crosses the city at an angle and can be walked or driven across.

It’s functional. And that’s about it. Design is alright and it’s nicely illuminated at night. But otherwise it’s not that impressive.
