Tanhouse Brae

A distinctive area in the town of Culross, Tanhouse Brae is known for its brightly coloured housefronts. Listed as a Category B landmark, the area was traditionally a shoemaking district, with many being sent across the ocean to the American Revolutionaries. It was also used as a location in the US TV show, Outlander.
