Surgeon’s Hall Museums

The HQ for the Royal College of Surgeons, Surgeons Hall is also home to one of the largest pathology collections in the UK. A Category A Listed Building first opened in 1832, the hall is a grand museum dedicated to the study and history of medicine. Creator of Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle, studied here before becoming a writer – using his medical knowledge to influence his mysteries.
