Overlooking the Isle of Skye and Loch Carron, Strome Castle is a ruined castle that was likely built in the 14th century. Though its ownership changed rapidly over the course of two centuries, it met its untimely end with an explosion in the 1600s – and has been left to dramatic ruins ever since.
