NextCreated during the last Ice Age, the towering mountain of Stac Pollaidh takes its name from the Norse meaning ‘pool river’. At just over 2000ft in height, there is a pathway to summit the mountain, created by Scottish Natural Heritage, with stunning panoramas at the top.
