Stretching around 130 km2, Rannoch Moor is an expanse of bog moorland that surrounds the western side of Loch Rannoch in Perth and Kinross. Overlooked by Ben Nevis and bordered by the Glen Coe National Scenic Area, the moor has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It was also used as a filming location for Harry Potter and Outlander.
