The Òran Mór is one of Glasgow’s most loved bars. You will find it in a converted church at the end of Byers Road, a short walk across the road from the Botanical Gardens. This venue is a hive of cultural activity and contains two bars, two restaurants and even a nightclub which hosts a variety of events. It was converted in 2002 and the door opened two years later in 2004. The interiors are beautiful, and provides a great atmosphere to enjoy a meal or a dram or two. They have an extensive whisky collection, and a malt of the month on offer if your looking for a great deal.
