Located in Cowgate, this was the last Catholic chapel built in Edinburgh before the Reformation. It was constructed in the 1540s and has been the site of some seminal events, such as (debatably) the earliest Church of Scotland General Assembly. It is well worth visiting for anyone with an interest in Scottish history.
