Luss

The charming village of Luss, on the western shore of Loch Lomond is a must visit when visiting the area.

It’s a popular place with it’s own tourist information centre, an abundance of accommodation, plenty of shops and restaurants and a never ending list of walks and activities.

It’s used to be known as Clachan Dubh, which is gaelic for ‘the dark village’ this was due to the fact it’s shaded from the surrounding mountains.

You will find the Luss hills close by, these range of hills are very popular with walkers and provide an excellent day out with scenery you won’t forget in a hurry.
