These two beautiful lochs sit next to each other in a beautiful glen west of Balquihidder.
The area is full of hidden gems, and is known as Rob Roy country, as he lived and died in Balquhidder, which is at the head of Loch Voil.
The Scottish outlaw was even buried in the local church graveyard. From the church, make sure you check out the McLaren Stone which is a fantastic viewpoint above the church offering some stunning views over Loch Voil.
Also look out for the strange and intriguing ‘The Lookout’ a mirrored cabin with a bench built in to showcase an awe-inspiring view that the area has to offer.
There are also many great walks and cycling routes in the area, there’s a track around the loch and the nearby Strathyre Forest which offers a scenic trail around the loch and an adventure to remember.
