Loch Lubnaig

Though comparatively small to other lochs in the region, at just 5km long Loch Lubnaig still has plenty of charm. Part of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, the picturesque spot is surrounded by woodland and mountains and is most popular with canoers and fishing enthusiasts.

Particularly popular with open water swimmers, kayakers and canoers, Loch Lubnaig is a freshwater loch in the heart of the Trossachs National Park. Running between Callander and Strathyre, a route surrounding it is often populated with long-distance cyclists. For those looking for a slower pace, there are some excellent picnicking and fishing spots.
