NextThis large sea loch in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is a loch that has an interesting history, true natural beauty and an abundance of activities and walks available.
You will find this twenty mile long loch in the Argyll Forest Park, which is a beautifully wild and rugged forest park in the Cowal peninsula of Scotland.
It’s got an interesting history to it, between 1912 and 1986 it was used for torpedo testing by the military, you can still visit the abandoned torpedo testing station on the northern banks of the loch.
Expect crystal clear waters, a large range of water sports, fishing and plenty of walks and hikes in the local area.
