NextAn old sea loch on the northern Islay coast, Loch Gruinart contains an area of land designated as an RSPB nature reserve. Known as Gruinart Flats, this nature reserve is an animal lover’s paradise and plays host to a number of bird species to spot. Over winter, for example, it’s a key roosting spot for barnacle geese.
