Famed for its natural beauty, you will find this tranquil loch in the Argyll Forest Park, which is also part of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.
This peaceful area is rarely busy, a real hidden gem in the Cowal Peninsula. Pack a picnic and head to Jubilee Point, which is a bay halfway across the loch. It’s the perfect spot for a picnic and to relax and take in the stunning views.
It’s a fantastic loch for kayaking and fishing, with permits available to purchase.
We would also recommend checking out the Gleneck Viewpoint Walk, which is a lovely woodland walk which offers some amazing views over the glen and towards Loch Eck.
