Loch Earn is a picturesque freshwater loch in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You will find Loch Earn a short distance from the village of Lochearnhead, which is at the foot of Glen Ogle.
It’s a fantastic loch that has something for everyone. It’s one of the few lochs in the area that allow a variety of watersports. From the Loch Earn Watersports Centre your able to paddle board, water ski, wakeboard, kayak and take a banana boat out with your friends.
It’s also a very well stocked fishing loch with lots of brown and rainbow trout on offer from both the shore and on a boat.
To the south of the loch you will find the mighty Ben Vorlich, which seems to tower above the west side of Loch Lomond. It makes for a fantastic climb to the summit, where you can experience some stunning landscapes that seem to never end.
