Loch Bay restaurant by Michael Smith

The Loch Bay describes itself as ‘Contemporary Scottish with classic French influences’ but what do the reviews say…’Superb’, ‘Exceptional’, ‘Truly Scrumptious’, ‘coming back for more’. It seems that it truly deserved the Michelin Star that it achieved in 2018. You get a choice of the 5 course seafood menu or the fixed price 3 course menu. It’s based in the lovely fishing village of Stein on the North West Waternish peninsula.

The Waternish Peninsula in the North West of Skye has some amazing accommodation offerings, for help to find your perfect cottage, hotel or b&b, check out our Skye accommodation guide.
