A quaint town in Dumfries, Kirkcudbright is known to many as ‘The Artists Town’ thanks to the huge numbers of artists who have called the town home. Built around a harbour, the town’s initial popularity in the 19th century has only grown as more Scottish artists visit to channel their creativity into new work.
