Johnnie Walker Experience

Encompassing eight floors on Edinburgh’s famed Prince’s Street, Johnnie Walker’s landmark in the capital is a must-visit for any whisky lover – and is fast becoming one of the city’s top tourist attractions. It is the heart of the investment that’s transformed Glenkinchie, Clynelish, Cardhu and Caol Ila, finding new and exciting ways to incorporate each of their unique blends into incredible food and drink.

When you arrive, expect full immersion in the incredible story of Johnnie Walker and the practice of distilling throughout Scotland, complete with actors, animation and music. The story of Johnnie Walker isn’t so different from the history of Scotland itself – and their 90-minute immersive production is the best way to learn about it.

And of course, the best part – the whisky. Cocktails arrive at the push of a button and you’ll have three whisky drinks delivered to your side during the Journey of Flavour, all catered to your tastes and alcoholic options.

Guided through them in interactive bothys and bars, it all finishes in the 1820 rooftop bar, promising stunning views over Edinburgh Castle from a wraparound terrace. Whisky lovers should also venture to the Explorers’ Bothy, where malts from the four corners distilleries are served and discussed – alongside a rare Johnnie Walker lowland whisky.
