Hazlehead Park

Hazlehead Park can be found nestled on the western outskirts of the city. Stretching across 180 hectares, the park is ideal for walking, admiring the beautiful array of flora in the heather and conifer garden, the azalea garden, or the formal rose gardens, enjoying a round at one of the park’s two golf courses or wandering through the woodland trails. Little ones will also love meeting furry friends in Pets’ Corner, getting lost in the maze, or burning off some energy in the play park. Hazlehead is also one of Aberdeen’s oldest properties, having previously been part of the great hunting forests of Stocket, before it was gifted to the city by King Robert the Bruce in 1319.
