Giant Macaskill Museum

Curated inside a renovated croft, the Giant Macaskill Museum celebrates the legacy of Angus MacAskill, born in 1825 and a Guinness World Record holder as the tallest ‘true giant’ in history. The museum showcases some of his history, from personal belongings to a replica of the coffin he was eventually buried in – and is twinned with a similar museum in Canada, where Macaskill lived for much of his childhood.
