NextFirst opened in 1874, the Forsinard Train Station was one of the first authorised railways to connect parts of northwest Scotland. Just four trains leave the station each day, which is why its main building is better known for being the Visitor’s Centre for the Forsinard Flows and is operated by the RSPB.
