NextThe village of Findhorn is located next to the beautiful Findhorn Bay, in the county of Moray. It is a pleasant place to come and spend an afternoon with friends or family. The village was once a crucial fishing port, and then in later years an important shipbuilding centre.
One of its main current attractions is the watersports centre. The river Findhorn that runs through the village is one of the longest in the country, counting in at around 62 miles in length. Canoeists come from all over to test out its waters.
If that’s all a bit too active for you, the Findhorn Heritage Centre is a great place to visit for anyone interested in the local history of the village.
