If its forest trails, wildlife, archeology and a good day out with the family you are looking for then look no further.
There is a nice easy loch side trail suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs which only takes about half an hour and has picnic tables along the route, dragonflies at the dipping pond and a viewing area over the loch.
The second trail is more difficult and not suitable for everyone but the stunning views over Loch Shin and Ben Klibreck as well as the burial cairns and hut circles on route make it worth the one hour walk. If you feel more like taking things easily then just relax on the lawn, watch the children play in the play area or visit one of the three displays in the Visitor Centre.
Admission is free and there is a car park, restaurant and toilets.
