Doune Castle

A striking 14th-century courtyard castle, Doune Castle is one of the most well-preserved great halls in Scotland. The castle has maintained much of its domestic living quarters, once occupied by the Regent Albany. It was also used in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Game of Thrones and as Castle Leoch in the first season of Outlander.
